Choosing a profile
The profile is the shape of the sheet. Corrugated (CUSTOM ORB®) is the classic Australian wave and, per Lysaght, suits pitches as low as 5°. Trapezoidal profiles like TRIMDEK® have bold, square ribs and go down to 2°. Concealed-fix profiles such as KLIP-LOK® clip onto brackets with no screws through the top of the sheet — clean-looking and well suited to near-flat modern roofs.
Pitch drives the choice more than looks. A low-pitch skillion on an extension needs a deeper-ribbed profile that can carry water away fast; a 22° hip roof can take anything.

We work with builders and owner-builders on new homes and additions across the Coast — from estate homes in Woongarrah and Hamlyn Terrace to knock-down rebuilds in Terrigal and Umina. We can match existing profiles and colours on extensions so the join is invisible.
Built to the standard
Metal roof cladding is designed and installed to AS 1562.1, and roof drainage to AS/NZS 3500.3. In NSW, roof plumbing work over $5,000 must be done by a licensed contractor — always ask for the licence number on your quote.

What's the lowest pitch for a metal roof?
It depends on the profile. Lysaght lists CUSTOM ORB® corrugated down to 5°, TRIMDEK® down to 2° and the ZENITH® range down to 1°.
Do you work with builders?
Yes — we install on new builds, extensions and renovations and work to your builder's program.
Can you match my existing roof on an extension?
In most cases, yes. Profiles and colours have stayed fairly consistent, though very old roofs will have faded, so a perfect colour match on a 20-year-old roof isn't always possible.

- Work over $5,000 must be done by a licensed contractor. Ours: 463604C.
- A written contract for anything over $5,000, and no more than a 10% deposit before work starts.
- Home Building Compensation cover on work over $20,000.
- Statutory warranties: 6 years for major defects, 2 years for other defects.
